I am not a doctor.. but the chances of you having to have a Hysterectomy are slim to none. In fact if you have birthed two children already, you are better off than many of us. I Highly suggest a second or third opinion. I am taking from your writing, you are not from the States, please write back and tells us where you are as one of our list members might be able to steer you toward a good doctor for PCOS. But if I had to guess, I would say you have a gross Hormonal Imbalance not related to PCOS. All your symptoms point to elevated Testosterone levels. I would ask your doctor to test you for Hypothyriodism and do an FSH test (Folical Stimulating Hormone) These will rule out or prove either condition. Also, have a Sonogram to check for cysts on your ovaries or more likely in your case, Endometriosis. That is a spider web-type cysting in the tubes. One more, have him test for glucose/blood sugar levels for Hyperinsulinemia or Diabetes. If you are diagnosed with any of these, we all can help with what Meds we are on.. but no need to worry about it until you know for sure.

Like I said, I am not a Doctor, but we all do a lot of research. I am sure some people reading this have their own opinion. The main thing is to stay informed and not make a Doctor perform a Life-altering operation if it is unnecessary. Also try to know as much or more. Anyone on this site can tell you when most of us were diagnosed, we knew nothing of PCOS, now, some of us know more than a good portion of Doctors out there simply because our condition is not quite in the forground yet... but we are all making progress. Good luck sweetie, and feel free to get a lot of opinions... no one knows everything.. I am only speaking from my experience, and I am far from an expert. I just read a lot. Deb mcdbb@aol.com
