Hi All,

I know I want to cry everytime I look in the mirror! I was finally dx about 8 years now, but never had a normal period. At 14 had my first period that lasted a month and did not have one again for 1 year and only once a year after that til I started the pill at 19 weighing in at 118 lbs 5'7". Now happily married and unhappily 225lbs, I am miserable in my body. Went from doc to doc who said your just fat, before I was dx. I lost about 20 lbs on WW then stagnated for about a year and gained it back, did ultrafast and lost about 100lbs and gained it all back. Started Atkins last week and felt horrible and shaky every day for 7 days and final came to this realization- Weight is just a number, I am not health, I need to eat better and exercise more to be healthy. My infertility doc will not help me until I loose at least 40 lbs, I would like to loose at least 80 lbs before becoming pregnant just for the health of the baby and ease of delivery (if there is such a thing). So do not fear you are not alone, I am going to do what I need to do to feel better, and not look at the number, it just makes me more depressed and then I am not happy and I make everyone around me (husband mostly) miserable.

Know how you feel
