Previous message: Amber: "Lonely Women rqiqn" When I was first diagnosed with PCOS four years ago the doctor put me on Diane35 (a bcp). I was on it for 2 years and finally had to go off it because it was causing me to lose more hair than normal due to PCOS - it got so bad that my hair is so thin in the front that I now have to wear bangs. It also wrecked havoc on my sex life. From other bcps that I've been on this is by far the worst one. It took alway all cervical mucus and any sexual urges I may have other wise had (it didn't make my first year of marriage very nice). I'm now 25 and have since discontinued Diane35 because all it was doing was masking the symptoms (mainly just the acne) instead of treating PCOS. I just wanted to warn anyone before they start taking this bcp: It is not the cure-all that some doctors make it out to be and there is a reason why it is only available in a few countries (as of my last check it is still not available in the US).
