Ortho-tri is supposedly not good for PCOS. Monophasic pills are supposed to be better for us. However I will admit that like you, I once took ortho-tri with no problems (that I can recall...) as far as side effects... however i went on BCPs at the time due to excess body hair and when the pill did nothing for that, i quit taking it. (i was young and have since given up on magical body hair reducing cures...)

so i will admit that your milage may very. a momophasic may well be best for you, but if the ortho-tri works for you, go for it.
