I don't think the spotting has anythig to do with the diet. A lot of women have spotting on the pill. Sometimes it goes away with time - I had spotting on ortho-novum for two months, then it stopped - and sometimes it does not - I had spotting on Alesse for 5 months and gave up on it. As far as I know, if you are spotting, it by no means means you are more likely to become pregnant on the pill - I have had countless doctors tell me this. It may mean, however, that that brand of pill is not right for you. If you have PCOS, ortho-tricyclen is not a very good pill to be taking anyway. A mono-phasic pill is supposedly better for us. Maybe you could switch to ortho-cyclen?
