WISCONSIN

WHO: Ladies in the Eastern Region of Wisconsin (Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Langlade, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menomonee, Oconto, Outagamie, Waupaca, and Winnebago Counties)

WHAT: Educational Meeting

WHEN: Monday, Nov. 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Women's Care of Wisconsin located at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. Enter through the North Entrance, go to the left and then right, it is suite 130 (directly across the hall from the Knee Center)

WHY: Dr. Rami Kaldas will be presenting an overview of PCOS and then answering questions.

**NOTE: At each regional chapter meeting, activity or event, PCOSupport Wisconsin - a chapter-in-formation of the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Association Inc. (PCOSA), a non-profit organization - will accept voluntary donations from attendees. Suggested amounts are $3 each for PCOSA members and $5 each for non-PCOSA members. These donations are entirely voluntary and are not tax-deductible. Making a donation is not required in order to attend a PCOSupport Wisconsin function. Funds collected from donations will be used entirely to support chapter operations, such as mailing costs and photocopying charges. There are no paid staff members of PCOSupport Wisconsin - all board members and their assistants are volunteers.

PENNSYLVANIA

The next meeting of the Philadelphia Area Chapter of PCOSA will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Centers for Women's Health at MCP Hospital, 3300 Henry Avenue, in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.

Our speaker for this meeting will be Dr. Katherine Sherif, MD. Dr. Sherif is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, and practices as a specialist in internal medicine and women's health at the Centers for Women's Health at MCP. Dr. Sherif is co-director of the Center for PCOS at MCP and provides holistic care to the PCOS patient, taking PCOS into account in all of the patient's health care. She will take questions from the group and share info on the affects of PCOS on general health.

**NEXT WEST CENTRAL OHIO PCOSA MEETING**

The next meeting of the West Central Ohio PCOSA support group will be on Thursday December 5th, 7pm, at the Sidney Public Library, in the basement by the children's area. We will have a small holiday party: you can bring a small, low-ish carb dish if you would like. Hope to see old and new faces there! Let me know if you need directions.
