I've got a diet for a book calledliving with pcos. It's pretty basic. 5 servings vegetables 4 of whole grains such as brown rice.If not used to this try 1/2 white 1/2 brown to start. Oatmeal is great. 3 servings fruit Fresh or canned no sugar.2-5 servings of protien. Each serving is 1 ounce. This should include some vegtable sources such as beans or lentils 1 serving (1 table spoon) of essential fat such as flaxseed or olive oil. I'm on a GLUCOMANNAN its a natural high fiber capsule. It has cut out my carb cravings. It also is reported to help cholesterol, I've been able to lose 12 lbs in a month.Without ever being hungry! If you try it go slow on adding it I started late afternoon 1st week 2nd week I added 2nd dose,I only took 2 pills rather than 3 as label says,I'm not the greatest eater&it made me to full.Costs me under $15 at the health food store. I'd stronly suggest you try this before you go gastric stapeling, my aunt had this done she's sorry she had it done,Why you start out slow is you get bad gas if you don't!hope this helps Never give up! This is a lifetime thing.
