It is a very frustraiting situation, I will suggest to give her all de encoragement, and information she needs but don't bug her about her weight, it really hurts selfsteem ( at least that happend to me ) ( my husband isn't very happy about my weight, but he knows I try hard I am on a no carbs Atkins diet for the last 2 1/2 years, and do excercise from walking to weights every day an unfurtunatly havent have succes yet, I will keep trying, that is all I can do, is up to my husband to stay with me or not ) just think about if you really love her, it does not matter how she looks, the important thing is that she keeps trying and that she takes the best care possible of her health, the diet will help her stay as healthy as possible. I hope she never has to be afraid of growing old with someone who will not understand all the changes she may go through.

good luck to both of you!
