You may want to give up the pickled beets and dried fruit (raisins and
prunes). The beets are full of sugar (you gave up beet sugar, after all), and
the dried fruit is concentrated in sugar. It's better to eat the whole piece
of fruit, fresh, than dried. Remember that a dried peach, for example, is half
a peach. And, how many people eat just one or two pieces of dried fruit?
