The best way to lose weight AND to keep it off, for PCOS, perimenopause, menopause, thyroid... or any hormone issues.... is with Dr. Larrian Gillespie's "The Menopause Diet." She also has a book out just for men, since women MUST eat differently then men, called "The Gladiator Diet." Her websites are the same as her book titles. Dr. Gillespie also stresses the Mini-meal concept mentioned in a few of the replies I've read (6 small meals a day). She also has a health report that you can download, "Are Hormones Making You Fat?" (I think that's the title.... you'll find it on her website).
