Re: LipotrimFrom: Seamus (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 15 Oct 2002 15:52:00 -0500 (CDT)
Hello, I started a Lipotrim diet on Sunday 6th October. Well, I was supposed to start a few days earlier, but several times I went mad with hunger and indulged in binge eating. I finally started the diet properly on the Sunday morning and managed to stick to it - I had eaten all the food in the house and the shops were closed. By the Monday I didn't feel so hungry anymore. I was drinking loads of water - about four pints per day (half the recommended amount) - but this seemed to keep the initial hunger pangs at bay. I was weighed last Tuesday at 6pm. After only 2 days and 7 hours on the diet, I had lost an astounding 10 lbs! This past week I have stuck religiously to the diet (with the exception of having milk in my coffee twice). Just the three sachets per day, no ordinary food. The only sachet I really like is the chicken soup, which by itself is really bland. But it becomes really tasty when mixed with curry, chili or barbecue powder etc. which is allowed. All week I felt I was losing weight but I didn't know how much. The omens were good, however. On Friday evening I was mesured for a hired morning suit for a forthcoming wedding. My waist size was two inches shorter than it had been for over a year. And over the weekend I noticed that my legs and face seemed a bit slimmer. My love handles were also shrinking. But tonight at the clinic, the weigh-in was to be the moment of truth. I had been told to expect a smaller weight loss than the first week as that had been mainly water. I would have been happy with losing 6-7 pounds, but was secretly hoping for another 10 pound loss. But I am absolutely delighted to report that in one week I have lost a flabbergasting 13 pounds! So in the course of less than 10 days I have lost 23 lbs = 1 stone 9 lbs = 10 kg. And my BMI has come down from a morbidly obese 41 to a plain obese 38. (22 is healthy.) I still have a long way to go. I started out at 19 stone 12 lbs = 278 lbs = 126 kg. My target weight is 11 stone 11 lbs = 165 lbs = 75kg. Now I am down to 18 stone, 3 lbs = 255 lbs = 116 kg. What a start! I am well on the way. Unfortunately I am going to America shortly for a week and my trip includes a wedding and two pre-wedding banquets so I will have to eat out of politeness. I feared that this would be a disaster. But the clinic has advised me to switch temporarily to the Atkins Diet. I will have to avoid all sweet and sugary food and drink plus carbohydrates - bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. But I can eat meat, fish and fresh and cooked vegetables. I will still lose weight, but at a slower rate. But I am looking forward to getting back on Lipotrim with its spectacular results. The start-up 2-3 days were hell on earth. But once I broke the back of it, it has been fantastic. I usually don't even feel hungry most of the time. And when I do, a swig of water or a chicken soup sort me out. I have been overweight since the age of 12. I am now 35. Already I weigh less than I have done for years and I am feeling much lighter and nimbler on my feet than before. The psychological benefits and the sense of achievement are immense. And it is a virtuous circle - success breeding even more success. I am delighted with Lipotrim. It is turning my life around. Regards,
-- Seamus
