Previous message: Lakefever2: "Re: Metformin" I have been on Metformin for five months now and although the nausea subsided after a month or so, the stomach cramps and diarrhea have persisted. Although I don't experience it every day, I can be sure that at least every third day I am going to become very sick to my stomach. But my husband and I have been trying to conceive for so long that I feel like it's a small price to pay. At this point, I am hoping to get pregnant just so I can stop the Metformin!!
