Just diagnosed

Just today, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have a feeling that I have had this for quite some time and after reading some other stories, I am sure that other doctors just didn't have a clue, and thought I was nuts with all of my health problems. However, now that I have an answer, I have so many questions. I'm only 32 years old, and I'm scared that I won't do enough to take care of myself, and that I will develop diabetes....or who knows what else. I will start my first dose of Glucophage tomorrow and after reading the possible side effects I'm even more scared. I don't know what to expect. Is this condition really the cause of my weight problem? Could it be the reason that I am so tired all the time? Will my acne go away? What about my depression?

I guess I'm really wondering how my life is going to change, or will it? I have a young son who needs his mom. I want to do whatever I can to lose weight, have more energy, "fix" my depression, and just feel healthy.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.
