Welcome, Eve. Sounds like you have really been working hard on this, and I agree about asking for an extension of your weigh in, because of the resistance nature of PCOS. I also highly recommend really cutting as many starchy carbs and high glycemic carbs as you can. My observation is that if you don't cut the carbs while doing Metformin, you won't see very quick results. The purpose of Metformin is to improve your cells sensitivity to insulin (improves sensitivity), so if you continue to eat foods that stress the cells by creating more inslin respose, you are sort of defeating the purpose of the Metformin. In any event, I would add that to your regimine.
