PCOS and weight loss! --Need help!!From: Eve (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 12 Sep 2002 11:39:22 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, my name is Eve, I am 21 years old, enlisted in the US Navy, and I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS, Insulin Resistance, and Hirsitusm. I have been on Metformin and I haven't really seen a difference in taking it. I have been trying Hydroxycut for weight loss, but still haven't seen any magnificant changes. I was at 178 lbs about 2 months ago. I didn't change anything nor was taking my medications and ended up losing weight to 166 lbs. Now I am at 166 lbs. I know that I need to go on a low-carb diet b/c my max weight in the military is 152 lbs. We get weighed on 1 October so I need to lose 14 more lbs before that time... ANY SUGGESTIONS? I tried the 48-hr miracle diet, it works a small amount, but I need some new ideas... PLEASE RESPOND!!
