Hi, I'm new to these forums and have only just found this diet one. I live in the UK and am awaiting formal diagnosis. Think my symptoms make it pretty clear though.

I see that self-help is about finding the right diet, and everyone seems to recommend low carb ones. I realise it is about finding the one you can live with, but I am so fed up already of reading about it. No one diet seems to be perfect for anyone and there is always some deprivation involved. Maybe I am more of a carb addict than I realised! I don't WANT to give up baked spuds!

Someone suggested Slimming World's plan, but only the red days. My husband is veggie, so can this diet work for me even with a couple of green days a week, or are the big carbs (pasta, rice etc.) just not on?

Can anyone else chuck any other ideas in my direction, I have trawled bookshops looking for diets that I think I can do, and the few that measure up turn out to be incompatible with good PCO management. Bored, bored, bored and need some help!

Thanks in advance everyone!
