Misty, This diet sounds a lot like the Mayo Clinic Diet. My mother went on this diet before she had surgery to have a pacemaker put in. I don't remember how much she lost, but I know it was at least 50-60 pounds. I tried the diet and after eating tuna and beets together for a couple of weeks I couldn't do it anymore. I know a lot of other people who have done the diet and it worked for them. Of course, I don't think any of them had PCOS. Sorry I don't know anymore about it. Denise G.
