I too am interested in this thinking. I eat low carb but need to watch fats and sodium. Insulin resistance has caused high cholesterol and triglyserides plus high blood pressure. At 47 I was DX coronary Artery Disease. Carbs turn into energy if insulin open the cell for the conversion but with IR it converts to fats. Evident in a lipid panel. I don't want a heart attack. I eat nuts, low fat cheese, good veggies, lean meats,. fish and chicken. I'm not sure of my calorie count but I've lost 26 pounds since Jan. What brand is the bread with 3 grams of carbs? I have Healthy Life 100% Whole wheat 8g carbs, 3g fiber. Clara
