Roberta...

Glucophage made me sick too... for almost 3 months.... But it does get better. The reason we all take it is to help regulate insulin levels and avoid or prolong the inevitability of Diabetes. Our bodies cannot regulate it itself... so with drugs and proper diet..we can help ourselves. I am not telling you that you have to be on it.... I wish I had the Doctorate I would need to do that (ha) But I am telling you that most gyno's and some Endo's have no clue what we need and I would seek a second opinion.... It took me 5 doctors and 18 months of telling me i was just fat before I found an endo who knew his Endo from his Elbow.... (ha again). Just check it out... and while we are at it... are some of you NOT on Gluc/Met? I would be interested to know since all the research I have done shows it is the only viable treatment to prolong the onset of diabetes in PCOSers.

Deb Resident big mouth. (;O) (one more ha)
