I agree with Victoria (surprise :-) ). Testimonies (case studies) don't prove anything. The person could have had a change from another issue, completely unrelated to the supplement (or whatever is being supported), or even a spontaneous improvement. Control groups help to show that the change is from the investigational issue, and not chance or an unrelated factor.
