carbs are carbs.... Listen ladies... i have a great deal of response to my offer to let you all know what I eat and what whole foods means.... This is the deal and it is simply..... DO NOT EAT ANYTHING PROCESSED. That is it. No pasta of any kind No bread of any kind no cereal of any kind no cheese no hotdogs no cold cuts unless they are whole meat slices

if it grows, eat it if it moo'd cluck'd snort'd or even winnie'd eat it' but if it has a list of ingredients and comes in a package... do not eat it... it is that simple.... processed is processed. what can you eat.........???? whole lean meat (no, you cannot eat sausage... but turkey sausage is great) lots of fish (curb the shell fish as it has lots of fat) fruits (in moderation, the sugar is bad for your triglyceride level) ALLLLLLL veggies are swell.... though potatos, and some squash are high in carbs.. just eat in moderation.. and no french fries are not on the diet.

how do i cheat.... let's see... I eat a fry once in a while i eat some no sugar added ice cream I eat rice but only 1/2 cup cooked twice a week (same with peas) I eat corn chips once in a while (corn flour is not as bad... but in small quantities)

the important thing to remember is that fat is not as much your enemy as sugar and carbs.... if you continue to eat high carb and or high sugar foods, the chances are you are making yourself more sick, more fat, and openning yourself up to more problems. by eating what nature provides and not food manufacturers, you are keeping yourself level and you will feel healthier, and have more energy. I do at least. I have done so much research to get where i am... believe me when i tell you... you are not going to get anywhere with a pill... this whole thing sucks..... big time.... but you can sit around and get fatter and be unhappy and unheatlhy, or you can take control of your life and feel better.
