Dear Natalie There is a blood test that your dr. can do to test for IR. It sounds like it's a good possibility considering you're eating sensibly and exercising. PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. W/ it you can have cysts on your ovaries or not, male pattern balding, male pattern hair growth(mustache, beard, chest hair, dark hair on your arms and stomach), no periods or long heavy periods, severe cramping or not, infertility, and possible higher chance of miscarriages. I hope this helps. Contact me anytime @ rumnigurl28@hotmail.com
