Can anyone tell me if its okay to use glucophage if your insulin/glucose levels are in the normal range? I definately have PCOS (no period for 2 years, weight gain, excess hair), but my blood test came back normal. My endo ( a dim bulb at best)said to check out glucophage on the internet and gave me a prescrip. Anyone know anything about its safety ?
