Triglycerides are fats in the blood stream can be caused by carbohydrates. They may be from snack foods, so cut them out first. Two years ago I had a high reading then last June I wanted to try to lower this and did a search that showed carbs. I am insulin resistant so you find high triglycerides and low HDL. They are dangerous and I have meds to lower this and cholesterol.
