The procedure is liposuction, but it has modifications to allow them to suction off more than the usual few pounds. There are still great risks to this procedure but I am so sick of the fat hanging off my abdomen. It must weigh at least 20 pounds! I am a very active woman, walk a few days a week, work very hard in my garden, etc., yet the abdominal fat is growing. Arrrgh! :o) Kristi
