I have all of the WW books, and I think the first stages of the eating plan was farily low carb, especially starchy carbs. I don't think we understood why way back then. And they always want something new and different and flashy. I have a friend who is now going to do the training so perhaps we can see if they are heading towards low carb. The nice thing about the plan is: you can always choose ! Do they tell you how many carbs are in things, or do you calculate that yourself. 50-100g of carbs is pretty good for most folks. I aplaud all of you. I know it is very hard work ! I feel so much better eating this way, however. Pat S
