Can you clarify which Dr. Bernstein you are talking about. Is it this one: http://www.diabetes-normalsugars.com/ or http://www.drbdiet.com/ I know we have had this discussion before, but I'd like to clarif. I think it is significant that you did lose, and were able to maintain the loss. This is the best thing you can do for your health.....The main thing is to find a way to eat that you can live with, and maybe allowing occasional events where you eat other things is one way to approach this.
