Well it can't hurt you really because you're not insulin dependent. The only real warnings I've heard is that insulin dependent diabetics may not need as much insulin while taking chromium so may get ill from a shot.

Since you're only taking 1000mg of met, I don't think the chromium gtf would hurt any and it certainly will help.
