Hi!
This is absolutely true. Does 30 mg of carbs sound really low to all of
you? IT IS but many women like Kyra with PCOS have to drop that low in
order to lose since we are so metabolically resistant. And once you
lose it you have to maintain your low carb lifestyle in order not to
gain it back.
Kyra did drop her fat really low, though. Not all low carb diets are
that low in fat. Even Atkins with its strict induction swears that you
will lose more if you INCLUDE fats in your diet than if you do not. But
hey, lower fat worked for Kyra. We are all different and we need to
find the low carb plan that works for each one of us.
My cousin with PCOS is in exactly the same boat and Kyra's story is not
unique. Good post, Kyra. God bless, Tera
