Re: ConfusingFrom: Pat (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 12 Apr 2002 12:03:00 -0500 (CDT)
Let put it this way: careful low carb eating can't hurt you, especially if you eat lots of low glycemic/hi fiber carbs, protein and the good fats. The research is still not in to support this as actually the way to eat, but lots of folks have found improvement. Some folks feel a low carb, low fat diet is best. You do not need all of the carbs recommended by the USDA Food Pyarmid. The key is to look and learn about the effect of starchy carbs, white flour and sugar on your body. If you feel good, and it's working, what is the deal. You are in charge of your own destiny. Many providers are not behind low carb eating as of yet. Very confusion, you are correct ! Learn all you can about your own condition.
