I wanted to thank both of you for writing.

I looked back at some of the information written on low carb diets, and my own previous experiences on low carbing. For the amount of things I do physically, I absolutely have to have some carbs. I'd much rather get them in the form of an apple or banana eaten over the course of a half hour so, then drinking it or going for pasta and pizza. Much less the huge Snickers bar my Mom has. I think also that a small release of constant carbs, such as are what is in fruits and veggies, helps to keep things level. I'm looking looking to spike things.
