I had a leep about once a year from 1995 - 1999. I had been clear all of 2000 until Jan of 2001. I had a bad pap. I did the leep procedure and a pap a few months later. I had severe dysplasia. I went in for a CONE Biopsy and D&C at the hospital. I had cervical cancer. My dr. felt they had caught it early. I did not need radiation or chemo. (thank GOD!!) I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 1/2 years ago. I have been taking met since. I had to wait a year after my cone biopsy to start trying to have a child. Last week was my one year anniversary. So I'm off my Aldactone and started taking provera to help me start my period. I think my body is in shock from being off my androgen blocker. Provera didn't work so today I started premarin. From what I have read I don't think HPV has anything to do with pcos. But, who knows? PCOS and HPV is a pain. I'm 27!!!! I had no idea i would go through so much at this age. I just got a call from my obgyn today saying i have to make an appointment for another pap because my last pap came back inconclusive. If i have another bad pap that puts my baby plan on the back burner again. MY husband is 40 and we are eager to conceive. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed for me. I am finally at a point where I can TRY to have a baby. Just TRY! If my pap is not clear and I have to have a leep or worse a surgical cone........ my baby plans could move back 6 months to a year.
