Low-CarbingFrom: Minni (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Feb 2002 10:27:15 -0600 (CST)
Hello Everyone My name is Minni and I am 25 years old. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago. I have never posted on this forum before but have on the PCOS general and medication. I think that all you guys are great and this is such a great forum. I come on here every day and read posts and also try to answer some. I was wondering which fruits are low in carbs and which are high in carbs and how many grams of carbs can you eat per day? What is the highest or my limit? I am trying to get back in to carbing and start exercising again. The problem is that I am Indian and our main meals are rice, and roti or roti filled with potatoes (which is made from flour), that is what gets cooked in my house and just about a lot of things are filled with carbs except the vegetables. It is very hard to say no when your mother or grandmother is cooking something and you smell the aroma...and the worst part is my room is right near the kitchen. I had given up for a while and was just eating whatever I wanted to but I want to try low-carbing again. I was just wondering if any one has any suggesetions form, I would really appreciate it or if there are any books out there that have good suggestions. Thank you in advance!! :o)
