I'd say that is pure opinion. The Atkins diet is *not* any higher in protein than any other diet, it is just that the *induction* phase is very very low in carbs. However, the *induction* phase lasts *two weeks*.

I'm soooo sick of people making statements like this when it's obvious they haven't really read into the diet at *all*.
