All that tells me is that people who've had millenia of living in the same general region and eating the same general food type have developed metabolisms that work best on that general food type.

Americans however have a harder time figuring out what their dominant food type is, based on how we are mostly mutts and don't all know where our ancestors came from. So how do we know what types of foods are best for our metabolism? I guess it's just trial and error.

I'm glad you've found something that is agreeing with you.

(I personally don't do well unless I have a consistent level of red and white meats in my diet.)
