Pamela,

I suggest you try very hard to learn to like vegetables. I wasn't always a fan, but I have increased my intake greatly over the years and am now on a mostly vegetarian diet - which is something I never thought I'd do.

Fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants that are not available in a bottle in any store. If you wish to avoid cancer you need to eat them.

Try combining veggies, cook them in tomato sauce, or soy sauce, quite a few veggies will taste like what ever they are paired with.

The atkins diet will result in weight loss but often results (sometimes far down the road) in kidney damage because it is so high and protein and heart disease because it is so high in fat.
