I feel the keys to healthy eating include: 1. Finding out what you are most sensitive to. Keep a food journal of how you feel after eating certain foods. 2. Eating foods that improve your health for the long term.

My experience is that moderate low carb, especially low glycemic index carbs adequate protein and fat is a fairly well tolerated way to eat. Eating low fat, or the wrong fats can make you feel bad. Some folks react to lots of carbohydrates. So each of us needs to find what works for us. I found the Atkins plan wasn't helpful and limit my carbs, but do not strive for a low level of carbs. Pat
