-- I've been on the Bernstein Diet since November 20, 2001 and have lost 27 lbs and 24 inches to date. Yes it is a restrictive diet, however, once tuned into the foods that you can eat there is actually a wonderful variety of satisfying dishes you can make. I found that afer about 2 weeks I was used to the decreased amount of food and felt very well and energized. It is as with anything else a matter of will power, positive thinking, and initiating change in eating habits that will make any diet successfull.
