Thanks you two, Gives me something to think about, since the two of you show similar symptoms related to foods/carbs&protein.

The coffee thing really interests me Panacea.

Before I had any health issues,or so I though that I didn't have any;coffee always had a very stimulating effect on me and that is what kept me going thru my long twelve hour work days, although,I always understood that this wasn't the proper way of providing my body with the well deserved nourishment to keep me going. I never really liked coffee then, but was the only thing that kept me thinking clearly thru the long days. Now,is a completely different story with coffee for me. It does the complete opposite that it used to do. Actually,I sort of use it as a drug(well, actually in a way,it is),wakes me up in the morning(my morning is mid afternoon,as I stay awake till six or seven a.m...like working the night shift. I need a warm cup upon retiring and I must say that it makes me sleep, undisturbed, and I do awaken more refreshed. Actually, the last two weeks,I have been trying some experimental things with coffee,as in my homeopathic studies,we use coffea, homeopathically of course to induce sleep.

I found the best breakfast tip for energy in the protein power book, which really works for me. It is plain yogurt(not the non fat,as it tends to contain slightly more carbs than the no fat),a half a cup,two tablespoons of soy protein powder or a half of a cup of a soy beverage, with some frozen strawberries...mix in a blender and you have a great smoothie. They say to use crystal light with a half of a cup of cottage cheese, quarter of a cup of yogurt and strawberries and some crystal light...just enough to cover it and blend.Another one that is high in proteinand lower in carbs.

Thanks for the answers. I can attest to the sweating from too many carbs or lack of carbs for me. It is so difficult to find the proper balance.

I tried the Suzanne Sommers approach and it was awful for me. I was shakey and exhausted. I feel that I need a balance of carbs and protein..of course less carbs...I try to for ten per meal, although sometimes I do binge out on cake or cookies before my period,or a chocolate bar.

Oh and Panacea, the hormone chart you gave me is measuring different in Us to here. I will give you mine as the doctor explained to me...tell me what you think,

Testosterone is 5.0....(should be <2 nanomoles/litre Free androgen index is 17...should be {0.55-4.40) Dhea's 11.3......should be (1.2-7.3 micromoles/L) These results were explained by my doctor to me. I don't know if one of you can explain better than he did,,,but he did say, they were very high. Any advice!as this is foreign language to me.
