I find that food rarely brings me out of being tired, once I'm already there I will eat a little something but I just have to wait until I'm awake again. The headaches and dizzy spells, perhaps. They are better now than when I was not eating a low carb diet. Although, sometimes I can eat foods high in carbs and end up bouncing around without a crash all day, just stabbing pains in my head to keep me company (but I can deal with those as long as I have energy...!!)

>Do you women drink any fruit juices/and if so,may I ask,how much? I used to drink nothing but fruit juices. Orange, grape, cran-grape, lemonade, pineapple... but now I am sticking to just the diet juices w/splenda. I don't limit my intake of that or I feel very deprived, since I was a juice-a-holic before finding out I was IR. Maybe 3 glasses a day but not every day.

>Any dizzyness, totally unrelated to anything,or to certain lights or Just on standing up..? I get dizzy for whatever reason just whenever, not just on standing up :) I prefer low lighting, and I have sensitivity to loud and/or obnoxious noises like squeaks of plastic containers, pen clicks, etc. That however supposedly relates to the hyperthyroidism.
>I do drink coffee, which I was told was a no no with this condition, but Well what happens w/me with coffee is that I don't feel it for about an hour, then I get really hungry.
>Strange as it may sound..wakes me up,and puts me to sleep without any Actually if you go to the national sleep foundation website it says that coffee is best drunk right before going to sleep, in which case you need less sleep to feel refreshed because as the caffiene sinks in it will wake you up earlier.
