Any help or ideas gratfullly recieved Hi Jo-- I haven't heard of the diet you are on, but I wonder whether low carb one day and high carb the next is such a good idea. It sounds like it would confuse your pancreas! Maybe moderate carb every day (like the Zone) would be better. You could then eat some small servings of grains every day. You don't have to eat a lot of meat to do low carb. I am mostly vegetarian (I eat some fish, but not every day, and I don't eat red meat or poultry) and for protein I eat eggs, cheese, nuts, peanut butter, yogurt, tuna fish (other fish when eating out), and soy in various forms (tofu, tempeh, fake meat products, soy protein powder for shakes, green soybeans). I eat lots and lots of vegetables, and a limited amount of fruit. I can't say I stick to this 100%, but I'm kind of easing into it. HTH. Is there information about your diet on the Web? As I said, I've never heard of it.
