Greetings, I think I have this computer thing figured out. Again, thanks for your patience.

I work full time as a nanny. I have a deep, genuine love for children. Especially the cuddly ones. I was first diagnosed with hypo-thyroidism. I had been having trouble with sleeping all day and night. (I would come home on a friday after work and go to sleep around 7 and not get up till noon the next day. I could then go right back to sleep a couple of hours later around 4-5 and sleep all of Saturday night. And not wake up till noon on Sunday! ) I was diagnosed a year later with PCOS after not being able to get pregnant after 2 years of marriage. I have now been married for 7 years and have no children. About 2 years ago I was told that "for my health" I had to go on birth control. I have a frustrating problem. I have a period about 25 out of 30 days. It varies from heavy to light spotting. Birth control fixed the non-stop period. Now here is my problem. I want to get pregnant oh so badly. But can't because of the heavy bleeding. My question to you as a support group is. Has anyone else had a similar problem and does a change in diet help with the heavy periods? (Can I reword the question?...) What can I change to help me to ovulate? I have a PCOS body build. I am heavy in the middle. I have hair growing in weird places. And a smile that is still there through it all. :-) JOYFULLY, Corina
