We're not necessarily overweight because we're eating bon bons at our computers. Personally, I haven't had sugar in virtually any form in 2 years (I am on an extremely low carb diet). We are insulin resistant. Yes, some people don't eat right. But, it's a difficult life adjustment. Many women are working hard on it, and others are trying to learn about how to control their insulin through diet, because they were never told before now. With PCOS there is more to it than just cutting sweets. It may take meds, it takes reducing carbs (sometimes very severely, sometimes more moderately). Sometimes even that doesn't work. While I appreciate your encouragement to move more, please don't fall into the stereotype that overweight people are that way because they just sit there in front of the boob tube eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's and eating a box of chocolates. We've all had to deal with that perception far too much in our lifetimes. We would hope that people on this list would understand. And, if you're going to insult someone, have the guts to own up to it.
