Re: So you want to lose weight!

Geez...enough already! We try to believe that no one who posts here means any harm. but, I can certainly understand how some posts do more harm than good. For one person to post that we are all fat because we sit all day long...and to assume that none of us get out and exercise is wrong. And, to assume that a negative response to a negative post is making a mountain out of a molehill is ridiculous.....these weight issues are already mountains for many of us. The last thing I need to hear myself is that while I sit at my computer a few times a week I'm packing on the pounds. And, shame on me. Also, let us not forget that there is more that 1 type of Diabetes....both differ in many ways. Another thing...I don't think all women BLAME our weight on the fact that we have PCOS....but, it is certainly not our fault that our weight jumped God knows how many pounds in a short time without our changing our diets or eating habits....therefore, to say that our obesity is our fault is wrong. Honestly, the Anonymous post upset me...as see how it upset others as well. Most of us realize that exercise is important in weight loss...we are not idiots here. But, to come on so strong and to (what felt like) degrade some of us is horrible. Maybe some folks should rethink their posts before posting. If you have PCOS....you should understand that it's a very delicate issue. Stressing the importance of exercise & informing us about one's own experiences is a good post....assuming that none of us do it and assuming that we are all lazy & don't know what we are talking about is not a good post. Again...this is just my opinions. And, on that...opinions are GREAT....but opinions that hurt others are worthless.
