I do a good soup too, that's not a creamed or pureed one.

In a pot of water, add some boullion cubes. I think Herb ox is the best. I use a blend of chicken, garlic chicken, itallian herb, and vegetable. Adjust the amount and blend to your tastes. I think it's easier and tastes better, to use previously baked chicken, but you could boil the chicken first, if desire.

After the chicken is cooked (if boiling), or with the chicken (if cooked), add your veggies of choice. I often add onions, cabbage, celery, snow peas, bean sprouts, and whatever other veggies I feel like. Add pepper, fresh garlic if desired, and whatever herbs you like (herbs de provence is good). Let simmer until the veggies are soft enough for you, and enjoy.

This makes great leftovers for lunch at work, too. In fact, it's better reheated the next day.
