Ketosis is a state where you are burnikng your own fat. It is a landmark of Atkins diet, but in general one doesn't want to be there a lot, especially if you are not striving to lose weight and burn up your fat. So, what did your doctor propose you do to stop the Ketosis, and what are you doing now?

Your symptoms sound suspiciously like an overactive thyroid (weight loss, palpitations and/or hypoglycemia, which means low blood sugar. Low blood sugar is the result of having more insulin in your system, which burns up sugars quickly, and then your blood sugar is low. You want to be certain you are getting enough protein, and eating in a balanced way so that you aren't getting a lot of foods in at one time that will cause your blood sugar to rise and then drop dramatically. I would think your provider should to a Fasting Blood Sugar am also repeat the thyroid screen. Pay close attention to your diet and even keep a food diary of what you are eating. I highly recommend you discuss your concerns with your health care provider, or if you weren't satisfied with her/him, find someone who can help you unravel what is happening. The medication you were given just treats the symptom, but doesn't help you understand the cause. Another thing I would wonder about is anxiety panic attacks, but I am more suspicious of diet. Or palpitations from a cardiac irregularity, which needs further evaluation. Anyway, keep a food diary, including times when you feel good, with out the heart palpitations. You didn't mention your age, but some of this stuff could be perimenopause also.

So, lots of ideas here about possible causes of some of your experiences. I wil be interested to hear what the ovary biopsy shows.
