WHAT IS KETOSIS/IS IT A DIET?--- Two years ago,I was told by an endo that I was in ketosis, but not by choice. She had a test for me to do where the paper turned different colors when dispensed in my urine. At that time,I was very thin and loosing weight, but not by choice.I was thought of to be anorexic. Then she did tests to determine the thyroid activity that proved to be over active to a degree, but no meds were prescribed for the thyroid condition, but a beta blocker called propanol for the rapid heartbeat,of which she said was a contributing factor in me loosing a tremendous amount of weight, despite that I was not dieting. I am getting so confused as to what diet suits me best.I am on the high protein power diet currently, but am finding that I can no longer tolerate it. Can someone out there help me out here. After I eat a meal;whether it be a large one or a small one,I get extremely shakey and nervous and my heart just bounces out of my chest for about two hours or more. I am at the point where I hate to even go out and eat somewhere,as I feel that everyone is watching me panic. I am not overweight, but I cannot understand all these different diets...guess this poses to be a stupid question, but I need some good advice. I went out for New Years Eve...big shin dig and ate a meal and some red wine,of which,I was told was good for my IR,but I find when I have just a tiny glass...I get more shakey. My evening was a total nightmare.....palps and all....eating god knows what...wolfing it down, and then suffering all night....still!It is five in the a.m and I am still shakey and sweaty. Anyone else out there have weird problems after eating? Scared In Winnipeg...... Need some prayers there ladies, for I go for my ovary biopsy on Tuesday. God Bless all you wonderful women out there....thank god I came across this site!
May this new year bring health to all of you,and "BABIES"!!!!:)
