Hi, I think wine, in moderation (1 - 2 glasses max) is ok. I drink red wine which is good for health - seeing I also need to be looking after my cholesterol and heart. I take Met 2000 mg/day and have no problems. My Dr. also told me wine is ok if don't go overboard and prefereably should have it with meals, not by itself. As for the carbs - everything is a balance and low carb doesn't mean no carbs. See how you feel as well and take it from there. Enjoyment is just as important as healthy diet to our welbeing and wine is actually healthy too! Sally
