Re: weight loss with exerciseFrom: Tyrany (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Nov 2001 22:18:57 -0600 (CST)
Hi Jamie..I do not mean to sound like I "know it all," or anything. But I was kind of at a stand still like you were. Like Sonnet said..you need to be helped with glucose/insulin levels. Also..if you are eating mostly fruit and vegetables..that is why you are gaining and not losing weight. Like most of us..you might be "super sensitive" to carbohydrates. Why not try eating more protein and less carbs. I am not saying go on the full blown "Atkins Diet," but lowering your carbs and boosting your protein intake will help. Trust me..I lowered my carbs to 50 per day..and I have lst 75 pounds!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work with the exercize..that will help you for sure. Always remember.."PROTEIN BURNS FAT!!!!!" Hope this helps... Sometimes eating straight protein..and no carbs for one to two days can jump start a weight loss. That is what I do when I hit a "stall."
