I am in the same situation (for the most part) as you. I have been going to doctors due to my significant weight gain - I gained 50 pounds in 2 years. They thought I had cushings at first, but this seems the most likely since my ultasounds showed "possibility of PCOS" what ever that means. So this is the beginning of this road for me. What I hate the most is that my doctors had been saying to wait to get pregnant until they could figure out what is wrong...but then last week (before the ultrasound came back) they finally said go for it - most likely nothing is wrong - and so that week I was trying...but now, i got this message. Does this mean I should stop trying? does this mean that I may not even be able to get pregnant? what does it all mean? I am trying to figure it out, calling all my doctors back. I want to figure this out. Now that I am finally ready mentally to have a baby with my husband...I find this out. I need to lose weight ..but how. I have heard that weight watchers is the best..but do I sound bad if I say I want an easier fix? that when i went on the low carb and excercise diet I only lost a small amount of weight and did not make me feel like the effort was worth it. anyone have any info for me? I have a feeling this could be a long and trying road like the one when they thought i had cushings. Best of health and luck to all of you out there going through the same thing.
